Actually, reason for her not being able to treat was the fact that she didn’t have any money. Remember in the interview she said that nurses ALWAYS had a healing machine that runs on money. Dosen’t look like fluttershy over there has any.

So he hides them in the very structure they intended to steal from. Interesting tactic, but Xane is a complete psychopath so you can’t expect him to be TOO logical. I hope that our thus-far underappreciated goblin tinkerer assists them in escaping and beating Xane. Since the tinkerer can reforge weapons maybe he’ll turn their new-found Muramasa into a rocket-fueled laser shooting superweapon.
Well… remember. The Naiad want the Chosen One too for their own purposes. So… having Maxx imprisoned instead of dead is actually beneficial for them. I think if they didn’t need Maxx then Xane would of just killed them instead of capturing them.
If guide survives,at least he can say:”I am the Highlander!”.
Maxx not being able to respawn is really the only thing that kept them from picking Option B. The goblins seem like a better option than being imprisoned, and having to deal with Xane again.
I don’t think anyone knows if Maxx can respawn. It never states he can’t. But it dosen’t state he can. Ever. Jesse, can you please help us.
Have you not been paying attention? Player Characters are set as Hardmode on this comic. If they die, They die. You remember correctly that June has stated she’s seen maybe Player Characters die over the years.

Who is left standing, after the enormous Naiad castle, the underground fortress, the deep cold caverns, turn into rubble? A woman, covered in ivy, holding a small brown rod. She appears to be a Dryad. Who is this woman? In case you haven’t guessed the obvious yet, it’s June.
I bet Xane and June would make a great evil couple. She hates them already quite a bit, eh? She also has the same humor and thought… Murder, murder, death, killing, nyeh, hurting, hatred. 1-2% Kindness in a 99-98% murder and everything else. So, yeh.
That’s why I said “As he dies, and his Naiad fortress crumbles, he falls in love, then collapses.” I said falls in love because of how perfect they’d be together. I imagine this will happen while they’re conversing with the tinkerer. She’ll probably throw the tinkerer into a collapsing cave, thinking he’s just another goblin. Then they’ll all have to rescue him, and on the way find the mechanic.
I mean in the sense that he dosen’t die. WHAT IF THEY RULED TOGETHER!? That would be the best plot twist in HISTORY. I would love that. What do you think, Da Poopz?
