Good ‘ol Maxx being stupid. It’s the kind of the comedy that just keeps on giving!

…Yeeaaah, that’s all I’ve got. It’s been a long day, people. Hope you enjoy the comic! Now I’ve got to go play Mark of the Ninja, I want it finished by the time the Terraria update drops!

      1. or maybe the blade of grass and his back have the opposite of “two opposite magnets that repel each other!”

      1. But if West is East in Terraria… that means they should go East? (Or that is just a Spanish version translate error?) Anyway, Maxx, people aren’t magnets, that’s why your theory is not correct using THAT example 😛

  1. Great comic again Jesse! You give the characters such great expressions and personalities..I can hear their voices in my head! Geez, maybe that’s not such a good thing…

    1. Yay!!!! *crowd cheers in background constantly* She’s gone!! HIP HIP HOORAY!!!!
      HIP HIP HOORAY!!!!!!!

      1. IDGAF about the name!

        What rhymes with witch XD!!

June is gonna kill me,you and everyone else………….

  2. The problem with going west, When they were in the Jungle I clearly remember them walking west. (And the guards were facing east)

Watch Maxx go all the way to the jungle to figure out it’s the wrong direction.

  3. problem is sun sets in the east and rises in the west and you can clearly see the sun set in terraria, so therefore, in terraria, you walk north/south. complicated enough for you?

    1. No, the sun’s in a different layer, so we are still walking east and west. If we were walking north/south, we would be seeing the sun move straight up and down relative to us because it’s 2-D.

      1. Actually, the sun in Terraria goes from East to West, not West to East.
Left = East and Right = West.
Also when a goblin army approaches, if it is from the west they will appear from the right side of the screen, and if it is east they will appear from the right side of the screen.

      2. Also when a goblin army approaches, if it is from the west they will appear from the right side of the screen, and if it is east they will appear from the right side of the screen. Yes. PERFECT SENSE

    1. Yes, 1.2 is going to be an interesting time for us all. For now I’m just going to wait to see what changes the update incorporates… I may have to take some time off the comic to actually play Terraria and get myself settled in the new version!

      1. So I’m guessing this is how 1.2 would eventually be incorporated into the comic. Maxx passes out, Wakes up to see everything “updated”. Freaks out, Eventually wakes up, But starts strangling Cyril thinking he’s a tree from 1.2. (Maxx still hallucinating ofcourse)

  4. Nice comic XD And I always got confused with Terraria directions…Whenever the goblin armies attacked, I always just headed towards the spawn point and hope I knew which direction they would come in XD

  5. East and West are explicitly told during certain events (such as a goblin invasion). Long story short, the Terrarian sun rises in the West and sets to the East…

  6. Guys, I know which way is west!
If your the terrarian and you look at the person playing you through the screen, you’d know.
So that means that if your a terrarian looking at the person playing you, Left WOULD be West, and right WOULD be left.
Also, wasn’t the corruption in the direction of the jungle? Just saying…

    1. It’s a reference to the fact that Terraria has two Wests, and no East. When the Goblin Army comes from the West, they come from where the sun rises. And well, the sun sets on the right so it means it’s also West over there… you get it now. It’s even referenced by NPCs in the actual game.

    1. The zombies aren’t really evil, they’re just there, trying to live perfectly normal zombie lives.

  7. Wow, I have just found your comic a few days ago and I’m addicted, I love Terraria, and I must say your comic is surprisingly creative, exciting and funny! Keep up the good work, you’re awesome! ^_^
