The script for this comic kept changing, and I still don’t think the delivery is spot on with what I wanted, but I’m really quite happy with this one 🙂 June’s expression in panel 7 is one of my favorites of her, and the hornet’s nest turned out all right considering what it started off looking like (nothing good).
Cyril is more sensitive than a computer hard drive when it comes to external contamination.
Oh, and: yes, after I posted Tuesday’s comic I realized that Maxx was never explicitly told that June was a princess. I thought about a few different ways to deal with it, but decided just to leave it be in the end. As amusing as I think it would’ve been to see Maxx’s reaction to the news, I don’t think it’s a huge loss not to show it, and we can just assume that one of the others filled him in off-panel.
Also: sorry guys, but due to some silly holiday involving the birth of my country or something , I will be away from my computer all weekend and thus will not be making any comics. I hope you have a good weekend, and I’ll see you again next Tuesday!

The Dirt Rod can’t make giant hands appear out of nowhere.
And the light’s bane can’t kill hornets, because it sucks.
It uses the dirt from the ground to make hands, and you actually can if you spend enough time by lifting each individual block of dirt into place, sooooo stfu
