So as it turns out, Maxx and June fighting together is pretty awesome! They definitely compliment each other much better when they’re doing violence.

I like to imagine that the dwarves’ battle theme is playing while they’re fighting.

This comic took a crazy amount of time to make considering how many panels it is– I guess that’s what you get when almost every panel is an action shot. Well, consider it my way of making up for the weekend!

    umm, am I the only one concerned that June gave the dirt rod to Maxx, and then she has another dirt rod in the next panel?

      No, she made a dirt sword with the dirt rod and gave it to Maxx, enabling her to use it in the next panel.

      If the bug spray is made out of dirt, how does it work? There’s no deet, unless the dirt serves as that purpose (suffocating bugs).

      Mud is just wet dirt…you can even craft it in-game by having dirt and being near a water source…

        I don’t know if you realize, but this doesn’t exactly follow the same rules as the game.

    Hannah doesn’t hope Maxx will get knocked out? Or is it she just hopes she gets to be the one to knock him out? I think them fighting together may be the loose end that was needed to tie them together.

    I can see them complementing each other. I can see Maxx complimenting June. I cannot see June complimenting Maxx.

        First we need get rid of Aley…..to prevent him from KILLING the Arms Dealer!
        Maybe close him in the fairy bell?
        (But they need to get one first, and that won’t likely happen…)

    How is he one-shotting hornets with a lights bane? Now that I think about it, how can you explore the underground jungle without shadow armor or better?

      How can Maxx kill the Eater of Worlds by making it run into itself? This doesn’t follow the game exactly.

      Um, yeah. Animation is both time-consuming and something I’m not very good at… I make a point of never saying never, but that’s definitely not part of the plan at this point, sorry.

    Oddly enough, the Hobbit theme was playing in my head as they fought the hornets before I read the description.
