Wow, this comic took awhile. As you can see, it’s one of the longer/ more complicated ones, but for some reason on top of that everything seemed to take longer than it should have. That being said, I wanted to introduce the Naiad and the Djinn in the right way, and after making a few tweaks (specifically to panel 4), I’m much happier with the comic!
With every comic, I get farther and farther away from Terraria canon. Don’t worry, all this will make sense eventually! Hopefully.

This just keeps getting better and better
Well of course, besides, it’s even better now that it gets its part in the update
I really lahk des lore-ies!
Umm… Errr… Don’t mean to be rude… But errhem… In the big fight scene… Where are the driad’s tops?
Those are guys…
Ahh I thought all dryads were girls
Yes, you are correct, dryads can’t be males, male dryad is named druid.
I’ve taken some liberties with the lore… I believe that according to common myth, Naiads are supposed to be uniquely female, too, but that wouldn’t work for my purposes XP
no a druid is a human wizard/mage who specialises in nature magic/healing
So, apparently Guide and Hannah adopted Maxx.
Also Maxx is impatient GOD DAMMIT MAXX
So Cyril and Hannah are Maxx adoptive parents. That means they’re maried?
Wait a second, that means Cyril was right! Water IS evil!
I laughed, probably far harder than I should have.
His conspiracies were right.
Cyril has awakened an ancient knowledge… grab the sponges.
wait, djinn for fire, in desert?
…….
you’re forgetting the best biome, HELL !!!
Hell is just hell, it is alerady inhabited by demons and bone snakes and imps and stuff. Also, Wall of Flesh, who would want to live near that thing anyways…
what if deamons where the fire race i hate that every race is human like
except the “Fearies” . LOL.
This is one of the most epic expositions I’ve seen yet.
And that’s saying a lot considering the fact that nowadays, most fantasy worlds run on exposition fuel.
Best. Comic. Ever!
My favorite part of the story is the lore! What I hate about a lot of stories is the lack of detail.
Light and Dark doesn’t mean Good and Evil. Maybe the Hallow is bad and the Dryad want to take over the world of Terraria and the Naiad tryed to stop them.
That means that June may lie… Or I just ate too much pie and I don’t know what I’m talking about…
I think you ate too much pie, because the Hallow is definitely good. I mean, there are Rainbows!!
And Unicorns that decapitate you.
BUT YOU CAN RIDE THEM
IN 1.3 IF YOU HAVE A BLESSED APPLE!
You spelled fairies wrong in the 4th comic 😛
Faerie is the Old English (Anglo-Saxon) spelling for fairy.
shouldent of used ground type on water type next time use lightning
Is it just me or does that not make sense?
It’s not just you! (I thought it was just me!)
oh good, no I really want to know what he said
Pokemon references FTW!
ohhh was that pokemon haha that makes more sense now
But Dryads are grass type!
So naiad is lights bane, dryad is blade of grass, djinn is fiery greatsword, so faeries must be murumasa. Kewl story Jesse.
That compels me to think we’re getting Muraleymasa.
Yes. Or the BLOG.
Wait… Shouldn’t the naiad be murumasa, cause the dungeon has a “water” theme? Ya know, water bolt, aqua septer?
You spelled Muramasa Wrong
Surely the dryad wouldve won, since the blade of grass is way better than the light’s bane.
Fairys have starfury.
But Jesse, are you going to include the crimison in the comic?
I like your story! Jesse! this feels like they are going for a huge adventure! I am always likes the adventure story.
ps:I am a player of terraria, but I very don’t know should think this is a terraria game’s story…Hmmm……
Y’now, my favorite kind of story is one with 4 elements.
i come from the future, xyvareth. the lenny war is over, the comic is back, comments arent killed, and we have cookies. comeback.
