Tower: Trials is Now Available for Pre-Order!

Though little time has passed since Kyle Campbell’s fall into the mysterious world of Loria, its magic has already begun to reshape him. He has flown through the sky in a golden airship, and won a sword from a battle with a goblin chieftain. He is adapting, and his knowledge and power are growing.

However, the danger that shadows him is growing as well. A powerful enemy has learned of his existence, and will stop at nothing to track him down. Kyle needs to find a way home, and quickly. But before he can reach his destination, he is captured by the enigmatic Buors, and brought to their forsaken homeland to await the judgement of their king.

All the while, his relentless pursuers are closing in…

Kyle’s greatest trials are just beginning.

I’m incredibly excited to announce that my second book, Trials, is now available for pre-order through the IFWG Bookstore!

Trials, the second book in the Tower series, picks up where Loria left off. It tells the story of Kyle Campbell, a vagrant trapped in a mysterious and magical world. Read more about it in IFWG’s press release, or take the plunge and pre-order it directly from them!

Trials has been three years in the making, and I couldn’t be happier to finally prove to the world that my first book wasn’t just a fluke. Kyle’s story will be concluded in Archsage, the third and final volume of the Tower trilogy, which as of right now is over halfway completed.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this book happen!

-Jesse

Although it would have been better to have it right after June says: “Hold your horses there, Xena. I’ll handle this.

  1. Dang I wanted first! This was a bit unexpected because I was expecting a Christmas special. And when I expect, then expect expectations from your expecting Xyvareth when he is unexpected.

    That made no sense…

  2. Well sorry but ya gotta deal with it. Hey a lot of the commenters like the tower series, so Jesse wants to show them he made a new book. And that’s a great accomplishment, so be happy! Wheee!

    Or something like that

  3. I realized that no one guessed Sophia in the Halloween 2015 comics.

I really think she was Wario!!!!!!!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡

      1. NOOOOOOO NOT THE WALUIGI

There’s actually a Christmas song sung by Waluigi in a webcomic called Brawl in the Family.

    1. Yeah I kinda said that in one of the recent comments for a comic I forget which one but still. THIEF.

      1. Ooooooppppssss sorry I meant to the people who are JUST NOW saying that Sophia was wario. THIEVES!!!

    1. Thanks! Too much to put in one comment, and I still have a long way to go, but my two biggest tips are: write and read, in that order. Write because practice really does make perfect, and read because it will open your mind to new ways of writing. Finally, pay attention to what puts you in the mood to write; it’s different for everyone, and figuring out your own moods will make you more productive.

      1. That is so true! I’m in the middle of a book called The diamond war and I’ve been writing and reading and if I find a mess up I fix it and search for more, if I don’t find any then I write.

  4. I’m not going to complain about this not being a new comic you have a new book out and that gives the fandom and me more time to theorize

  5. Not sure how I felt about Loria, but I’ll definitely give this one a try for our favorite web-comic producer/author over here.

      1. Merry Christmas everyone, by the way!

Xyvareth got nobody a gift because he is long gone and never seen again.
        Oh well

  6. Congratulations on your new book, but…
We all want more LoM. Why are you putting ads in place of a real update?

  7. People. Do you know how long it takes to write a book? He posted this because his is proud to share what he wrote. With everyone complaining like this it’ll not help him write any more LoM. Legend of Maxx is not on any schedule or anything so there should be no problem if he posts something other than it. You should be glad he is posting things here at all.

I am really looking forward to the new Loria book. And also, when he feels like it, more Legend of Maxx.

  8. Spopoplier alert: de persuer iz a bokoblin from de lagand of zadla.

Why did I think it was a good idea to write this.

  9. That really failed miserably…

The “AWESOME” was supposed to look like it was shining but it deleted the spaces.
    Should’ve used periods.

  10. Jesse never looks at the comments anymore. Does he. I mean yeah he replied earlier but that was a long time ago. IS LOM ENDING?!

  11. Geez guys just because Jesse doesn’t reply too often doesn’t mean LOM is ending. Maybe he doesn’t have time to look at people COMPLAINING about how they didn’t get a new comic.

    I don’t mean you, terrariapro.

  12. Finally. I’ve been asking you about this for years on your Twitter account. I finally stopped asking a year ago but glad to hear that it is out.
