I have no idea what deuterium is actually used for, if anything, and I refuse to look it up.
I was going to have both Sophia and Maxx drinking ale in the last panel, but decided that it just wasn’t Sophia’s bag. That being said, I’m sure that chocolate milk in her hands is as dangerous as alcohol is in anyone else’s.
Have I mentioned how happy I am to be back? The comic-making process is quickly coming back to me, and everyone’s all excited to have things up and running! I’ve noticed The Legend of Maxx popping up on other social media sites– a big thank-you to the people responsible, since this is the kind of thing that introduces LoM to new audiences!

Nice. For your information, Deuterium is used in heavy water, which in turn is used in neutrino detectors. As in the tiny theoretical dark matter particles.
Scientist haven’t found anything yet, though.
Heavy Water is also used in Nuclear Fusion. And in Starships.
Deuterium is an isotope of Hydrogen in which each Hydrogen atom also includes a Neutron.
Makes you wonder how Sophia’s deuterium engine would even work, since they would have to breed tritium, which, last time I checked, would require a nuclear reactor that does not exist in Terraria. Plus, I doubt that Jesse would have the time to build a Chernobyl.

Cyril kinda reminds me of Armin from Attack on Titan, except he’s always too scared or distracted to use his intelligence to form a plan, and nobody has the patience to put up with him. Also I seem to be one of few people that likes said characters in a non-ironic way (so basically not like Zoidberg). That may be because I can kind of relate.
