Of course I was going to show you the full blueprint. As you might be able to guess, I drew a bit of inspiration for the ship’s design from Calvin and Hobbes’ bizarre schemes, notably Operation Kapow. Not to mention my own childhood. Who hasn’t drawn half a million maps, mechanisms, and secret plots before?
I’ll be honest, I’m very happy with the way this one turned out. Between achieving a convincing ‘blueprint’ look and managing to cram in all of the details that my Sophia’s brain cooked up, I’m proud of the finished product. Hope you feel the same!

I agree with the look on June’s face after she saw the blueprints. When I saw it myself I thought, “HOLY #@$! THIS IS ONE HELL OF A MECHANICAL MONSTROSITY!”
I love it. June’s snark, the buildup in panel 3, and all the creativity in the blueprint. I especially liked how well the stuff in the blueprint fits with Sophia’s character. It was very cute. Great work Jesse!
