      My assumption is that it is a reference to B.O.B., the song from the rap duo “Outkast”.

        they have the goblin tinkerer on their side, plus the old goblin leader was a jerk. the new goblin leader wants peaceful coexistence with the humans, remember.

        Lord Grog, Smurg is the new leader and he wants peace. If you are for some reason revived, you might need to obey his peace call, which means maxx and co might not kill you
        P.S I’m pretty sure you have the strength to wield a djinn dagger, so try to be revived before they get the fiery greatsword

        But remember that Maxx, June and Sophia all are lunatics.

        hey, they have the Goblin Tinkerer on their side, he is a connection with the other goblins, he could prove useful by negotiating with the other goblins. Lord Grog was the one who turned in the Goblin Tinkerer, the other goblins were afraid of disobeying, so with Lord Grog dead, the goblins have changed and so are less violent.

        Yeah, remember the pygmies? The ones who were about to change from a culture of violence to one of hot tubs and relaxation, and were probably going to make a scientific breakthrough that would change the fate of the world? Yeah, the ones that got crushed to smithereens by June’s dirt-smashy-thing-of-death. That’s what’s going to happen to the goblins I bet… though that would be anticlimatic and duex ex machina (machina ex dues)

      Maxx’s village is called Southern Maxxington (or at least Maxx recommendation to June). I believe Jesse said something caused the world the village was in to get deleted.

    Hannah’s face when Sophia said, “We’re more than friends” was hilarious.

    I’m guessing “Gus” is going to be the new “Guidey”(ie character who is never referred to by their real name, causing a mix of frustration and anticipation until the name is revealed.)

      I’m pretty sure he actually does have a name, I just cannot for the life of me remember what it is seeing as that would require me to comb the archives for the very first instances of his existance to remember. Or I could just be remembering things that never existed. Who knows?

        his name is simply Tinkerer. He was going to say Dr. Tinkerer,but Sophia calls him Gus (which IS a valid tinkerer name in the game)

    With everyone comparing the crazy mechanic and pinkie pie, I bet 10 virtual cookies that the party girl is going to end up being an extremely depressed character. Or something along those lines. Or at least not nearly as crazy as the mechanic.

        Pinkie Pie is happy side
        Pinkamena is the depressed side that people usually associate with the creepy pasta “Cupcakes”
        that would not be good, but the Sophia is not truly like Pinkie Pie, because of some physic breaking things and how Pinkie Pie can somehow show up anywhere

    Where and how did Sophia make those bracelets? In the dungeon, all they had were the stuff in their room and you’ll need a machine to forge those letters.

      Please. Nothing’s impossible for a prisoner in a webcomic. Or maybe Sophia kept them from the last B.O.B.F.L she had (who probably mysteriously disappeared for no reason)

      Right because we know it’s logical to expand a wrench to over x50 it’s original size and make a vehicle body that appears to contain Dungeon Blocks (which are very hard to, Let alone craft into a vehicle body), But making two bracelet’s which appear to be made out of something like Gel,

    I love this comic, man! This is my first time writing comment, cuz I was too lazy to create Gravatar account… I’ve been following Maxx from the 1st comic page!

    If this comic would have merchandise, I would totally buy “Outcast Bracelets” and “mini – Wrenchinator”…

    Btw – Nice banner, i waited so long to see it!

      It IS a long time between comics but we have to remember that he does this for free and in his spare time. He’s writing another book too!

    Knowing Jesse won’t answer, not because he’s a douchebag (because he’s not) but because he’s probably got tons of stuff on his head already. I’m going to ask anyone around here:
    Do any of you guys know HOW he draws these comics? Does he take the characters and edits them accordingly, or does he actually draw everything pixel by pixel?

      I think he said somewhere that he edits the characters instead of drawing pixel by pixel, not very sure though. Itwas in one of the comics I think
