    Can’t June lose for once? She’s one of those characters I find in a comic that I just happen to dislike even if she’s good.

      I know. June really should’ve stayed gone in the comic, she was funny at first but then she just got worse and worse as her plot armor got sturdier and her personality got more and more annoying and condescending.

    So after this comic, I’m imagining Xylan having the voice of Matt Miller from Saints Row 3 and 4. It brings me joy somehow.

    Bringing back my old theory: Maxx and Junes Names Ar combined To Make Xane. Maxx’s x and a Junes n and e pow you just captured Xane. Would you like to give a nickname name to Xane?

    totally unexpected, this comic was to me. Also, what will it be like when they have to get the Gossamer Sword from the fairies, because of Aley. will Aley react a little bit like June when she had to go visit the dryads again, or will Aley be bullied by the other fairies and Maxx gets mad since he probably does not like having his friends bullied. someone please comment about this.

      Hmmm…
      Blade of grass = jungle, dryads, wasps, hornet nests and magical flowers.
      Muramasa = long journeys, OP assassins, hostages, traps, beautiful hair and a clash of prophecies.

      What will the other blades have waiting for us??

      Fiery greatsword. Caves? Tim? Spidercaves? Several painful and agonizing deaths in lava?
      And the Gossamer sword. The journey to the skys. The home of the Wyvern.
      Only time can tell.
      Jesse… We will be watching. 😀

    suggestions for comic: Have Maxx find a Cobalt shield, which is in the dungeon (cobalt shield prevents knockback and Maxx could use it for defense); have Xylan join them because he has gotten tired of doing nothing for many decades; have Maxx fight Skeletron once they leave the dungeon at dusk; Get Maxx back into the freaking plot line again already!!!

    where do the Djinn even live anyway? it showed the Djinn in the desert but the Fiery Greatsword is made of Hellstone, so does that mean some of the Djinn live in the Underworld? Maxx still hasn’t fought: King Slime, Queen Bee, Brain of Cthulhu(optional). will the Crimson ever come into the story line? will Maxx make another set of armor? also just realized that the Light’s Bane doesn’t require Shadow Scales at all so Maxx could have also made a Nightmare Pickaxe(last comic i saw him using his pickaxe, it was still a low tier copper pickaxe he was using, have him get a Nightmare Pickaxe at least). OK, now i am done going…

    Hey, there! Hehe…remember me? Probably not. Guilty as charged, I’ve been reading and not reviewing for months. Well, that’s going to change. From now on, I’m going to do my best to give a review for every new comic. 🙂

    This is probably your best witty dialogue comic yet. I absolutely LOVE this type of thing, with two characters that can’t get along being stuck in the same room together. Watching Shallan and Kaladin from Brandon Sanderson’s The Stormlight Archive hasn’t helped that unhealthy passion of wit any, either. Geez, those two can’t get along at all.

    Anyways, good luck with your book! I know how hard it is. I’ve ben an author for over a year; it can be difficult to get the words out. And then the grammar/character development, and making sure that there aren’t any plot holes? Yeesh. Whoever came up with the rules for the English language needs a good lesson on the importance of authors keeping their sanity!

    Ya u never give up on the comics and pretty much constant with the comics and the quality of your work is getting better espically with the jokes and the fights and the photoshops pretty good to keep up the good work I look foward to more torch jokes and fight seens

    So, I don’t see why people are having problems with June’s so called “plot armor”. when she’s clearly been portrayed as a powerful character straight from the beginning…

      I think it’s the undefeated status she’s enjoyed so far, that combined with her abrasiveness. In the end so far she did the most harm to herself, so it’s fine.

        Maybe everyone thinks it’s that stereo typical girl who always beats the dudes in the story and is pretty smug. Which I think it is, and zat is why I hate June. I honestly don’t know, I just happen to hate June.

        I hate her too :c I would like to see her being a loser at least once. Now she’s just doing whatever she wants without respect to anyone or anything and still she wins with that attitude, what is a bit irritating.

      Looks good, Uriak! As for the background to the Xylan portrait, I actually like the existing one! It reminds me of the Muramasa’s slashing effect.

    You know Jesse you should make a making of the comic where you show us making the comics also I could make a public schedule so we could know whe the comics come.
