Welcome everyone to the Legend of Maxx, a sprite comic set in the magical and dangerous land of Terraria!  I hope you enjoy your stay!  Bear with me if the comic posts seem a bit barren for the next 90 comics or so–  I lost a lot of comment data moving these suckers to the new site.

      I remember when I first discovered this comic.
      At the moment, we’re at Comic 340.
      Ahhh, the good old days…

        Just an observation, I noticed that the text is about fifty percent larger than what it is at the moment (comic 343). How odd.

        I actually noticed that too. I think it just shrunk over time to fit more space into the comic.

        man you’re behind. we’re already in the 3rd chapter,since Maxx already got the muramasa. Right now he is hunting down the merchant for selling the village to the goblins.

      i remember when i found this when i was browsing terraria comics. now this is my favorite ( and ONLY) webcomic of all time.

        Ahaha its been a year since someone commented on this… Right now, there is 1 day till comic 500 gets posted. Some day in the future somebody is gonna say Ha! we are on comic 600!

      On January 2 2016 the comic ended. Very sad, but I agree with Jesse’s reasons. There will not be a comic 600. Sorry guys that’s just how it is. Hope everyone can be understanding and support Jesses decision, because the last thing he needs now is people being mad at him, it was very evident that this was a necessary and hard decision to make.

      I’m making another terraria webcomic,it’s basically if the Legend of Maxx had a main character that is like at Yrimir’s level times 1 million,who just so happens to be a psychopath that is bored at everything being so easy to the point where he cut his limbs off to fight the Dungeon Guardian,and won.

        And there is another main character who is a healer/bard/summoner(this webcomic will feature mods so that it can last longer) who basically watches as everything gets tormented and is too scared to do anything

    he said in the 1st panel, “doesn’t seem very exciting” and in the latest comic, we have a psychotic wrench-happy mechanic and a german goblin in a wrench-tank accidentally saving maxx, an angry dirt rodding dryad, an actual badass nurse with an axe and a bow, along with their wizard with a flower who talks to him in his brain from getting beheaded 1 by 1 while trapped in whirlpools created by the naiad king who just got completely impaled and didn’t even get a cut to prove it…….. so yeah, not very exciting

    Sweet memories.

    While I wasn’t hear from the beginning I lurker on TO when LoM was only an infant. Now LoM is sitting happily on my bookmarks bar and i check it daily even though I know i shouldn’t expect a comic every day. Even when I stopped Terraria I still come back to LoM….

    I remember when I started to read the legend of maxx. Comic 535: begin the operation, had just been released, and I found out about LoM by searching up terraria comics when I was looking for comic ideas. It was terraria, or minecraft. I didn’t actually do either of them, but the end result was similar to terraria.
