Exposition time! I feel like this is going to be the part of the comic where people either get very excited or very angry. Naiads are certainly not part of the Terraria canon, but I hope to make them work in the comics to come! STAY TUNED

Well, as long as this comic’s awesome, i personally don’t care about it being not very loyal to original terraria lore.
Also, +1 for Guidey facepalm
So either the dryad is a ghost, or Npc logic. (Angel crap y’know)
Or (again) the dryad and the naiad are back somehow.

Logically, making the nightmare pixaxe is the best choice.
Actually, the war axe of the night has a higher damage value and knockback than the nightmare pickaxe.
So? The pick is the best pick in the game. (Pre hardmode)
*cough* Molten pickaxe? *cough*
nightmare is faster with the weaker materials, which are much more common… molten is horribly slow… (though faster with hellstone/dungeon brick,etc. and is needed for advancement)
But, they’re talking about making a weapon, not a tool. The best demonite weapon is the axe.
Sadly to say that, but i hope Dryad will die.
Of course if she isn’t ghost…
What if she is NOT a dryad, but instead a beast of pure evil?!

I really like these lore-types comics, where a bit of backstory is given on how certain materials form or what happened in the distant past. Hopefully we can eventually gather all of this information and make a Legend Of Maxx timeline! 😀
