Action comic! I’m really glad that this can’t happen in-game. That would be pretty much the worst thing ever.
I like how Maxx has a terrible vocabulary until he needs to deliver a one-liner. If you don’t know what an annelid is, don’t feel bad– I sure didn’t until I was forced to come up with a good worm-themed slur.

How doe that make any sense? If EoW eats a demon altar, its eats a demon altar, not itself!
if you looked at an earlier comic… when you attack a demon alter you get attacked by your own attack instead.
As I said before, a demon altar looks like Eater of Worlds head…

They are both made of the same demonic, corrupt materials… they aren’t the same thing.
Given the number of times I’ve hit “Q” and accidentally thrown my weapon during a bossfight, I can confirm that this most certainly can happen in Terraria.
