Yes, that is so Max-like that it hurts. I could have seen him waving at his friends as he’s being whipped around by the giant demonic worm later on in all honesty – just how he rolls.
I found this comic more recently (and wish I had know about it much sooner, but hey, I didn’t have to wait around to find out the end of chapter one at least.:) ) and I have to say this is really my favorite panel. There are definitely other ones I like that are in close competition but this one is just flat out awesome.
I usually jump when I hear”SHUFASHUFASHUFASHUFA”.
