How often do you see the main character have the stuffing beat out of them? The example that always comes to my mind is when Link confronts Bongo-Bongo for the first time in Ocarina of Time. Not one of Link’s finer moments.
Drawing the Eye’s ‘pa-too’ face was a lot of fun! Just kidding, it wasn’t. Fun Fact: I actually used a piranha plant from Paper Mario as a model for it!

If you think about it – Guidey has some use as a re-usable meat shield seeing as he can come back to life every morning. There’s the obvious drawback of what to do with all the bodies however.
Use them as a fertilizer for the daybloom farms, of course!
