It is quite possible that I will never get sick of writing Guidey. I can’t help but wonder just how long I could stretch out one of his monologues if I really really tried.
I’ll be honest, I had to Wikipedia ‘vidlicet’ to make sure I was using it correctly, and technically the usage still isn’t perfect. But I liked the idea of Maxx inexplicably being able to understand what Guidey said. Maybe he’s just starting to empathize with Guidey, like how people can understand what their dogs want.
Nothing wrong with looking at sources. As an average/bad fanfic writer, I tend to have a dictionary and other stuff at hand when writing. Some characters _do_ use fancy words, and using them without knowing what they mean can become a double-edged sword…
… Like all those guys who still use “bemused” as a replacement for “amused.” I’m quite bemused by that.
I find this iteration of your sprite-based story of the comedy slash adventure type to be, in all honesty, almost painfully amusing, to the point where your portrayal of the entity known as Maxx as an argueably smart subject, has not really impacted me as much as it should have. Such an event is rare, indeed.
I congratulate you, good sire.
Or to say it in Maxx mode: “LOL! Maxx is smart, I didn’t see that coming. Awesome.”
I feel like guidey has said that before…
…and I was right. Comic #83. Bwahaha.
I’m bringin’ it back around!
Maxx is actually smart? We’re all doomed.
Maybe he just read it in Wikipedia.

Yeah, English is definitely a tricky language to negotiate. There are many words that do not mean what you think they mean.
hate to break it to you but dude, most swords are double edged
OH GOD, WHY IS MAXX SMART!? YOU’VE DOOMED US ALL!!!
Then again, Guidey might help.
