Comic #96

You: WHAT IS THIS CRAZY SIDEBAR THAT ALLURES ME WITH PROMISES OF STUFF AND CHEAP ADVERTISING ->

Me: Well everyone, I’m happy/proud/somewhat ashamed to say that The Legend of Maxx is now officially advertising through Project Wonderful! So if you know anyone who would like cheap (read: currently free) adspace, direct them to project wonderful and to this site!

In a perfect world, having such an adbar would be unnecessary, but I would kind of like to get to the point where the comic can pay for itself; if the site ever becomes lucrative, I’ll be that much more motivated to keep it going and possibly even get into it in a bigger way. For now, hopefully the presence of the sidebar doesn’t send you into fits of rage every time you visit the site. I’ll be keeping an eye on the ads that appear, but if you ever have a problem with an ad– if it’s displaying something inappropriate or trying to sell you Russian wives– just let me know.

Anyway, on to the comic! This is actually one of those cases where I’m poking fun at myself; I have a tendency to give things the lamest, most un-creative names of all time. After all, it was actually me who gave birth to Guidey the guide.

  1. Swordy the Sword? Furnacey the furnace?
I give up on Maxx.I mean,at least the “Destroyer of All Things” should’ve been the sword.I mean,it’s the typical name for people who love their swords.

  2. the name i gave my sword was simply the destroyer of the world as we know it until i give it to my friend when i get a sword with higher damage but soon learn it suck to the sword i have now and i steal it back from my friend that is the name i gave my sword
