It’s not often that June goes off like that. And it’s not often that it ends in such a spectacular fashion.
It’s interesting how little details can make or break a comic. The original version of this strip didn’t have the shaking ground in the last panels, or the rising ‘HOOM’ behind the text. I really wasn’t feeling it until I added those in. Just goes to show: sometimes less is more, and sometimes more is more.

After i’ve reread all of the comics (since i’ve been aware that the comic is back) i’ve had a burning question i was wondering if you would answer. Why did the party go for the muramasa next, instead of the gossamer (fairy) sword. I know from a writers perspective, it would be more entertaining, and better story to go for the muramasa first, but is there a canon reason the characters chose to go for the muramasa ?
canonically, the muramasa is supposed to be next after the blade of grass. since the gossamer blade is fanmade, then i’ll suppose we’ll just have to wait until things are explained.
