      Don’t you realize that Ina is a NPC, since there is only one player character, which means she will respawn, along with a bunch of really old vikings. The village is going to be PACKED. I hope they have a giant ship shaped house.

        Actually, in a way, she is and isn’t an NPC, but no, she isn’t a player character. You see, in Terraria, the people we often refer to as NPCs are TOWN NPCs. In reality, everything alive and not the player his an NPC, from antlions to Wyvern s. We just don’t really refer to them as such. I think this happens in other games, too (except Garry’s Mod), but I can’t be sure.

        It’s actually a Murasame True Angelite Saber
        A Murasame is a sword that has been improved to the point of INSANE power (like 300000 damage) from N Terraria mod
        The Angelite Saber is from the Necro mod

    O.K. now I’m startin’ to feel sorry for Cyril…must be those sad tears in his eyes. But I really thought Hannah was the girl for him…so now I’m torn. Why does love have to be so complicated? His facial expressions are great BTW!

    You know, if Cyril does commit suicide can’t he just stay dead, didn’t he chose to back when he died before? Or am I just trying to rationalize with what’s probably the biggest loss of, well, any character I have empathy for?

        that should totally happen, except the panels look like old fashioned RPG turn based fantasies. Cyril uses Flaming bunny storm. Maxx uses stupidity, hannah uses PANIC ATTACK! Remmy counters with a poke, REMMY WINS!

      Does anyone else find it a little sad that when a story makes them feel for a character, and/or feel a twinge of sadness and loss when misfortune befalls said characters, people cry “troll”? Sometimes an author’s just trying to tell a story, and just because it’s something other than 100% happy and silly doesn’t mean they’re intentionally trying to anger you somehow.

      Now derailing the entire story to degenerate into absolute and irrelevant absurdity, or continually going into subplots and subsubplots and subsubsubplots endelssly without ever resolving any of them, or permanently stopping the webcomic on a breathtaking cliffhanger… that might be trolling. And trolling sucks.

    Inb4 Maxx steals Remiel’s sword… Also, it’s technically completely useless for Remiel to claim slippery slope, since not getting ascension isn’t really a reward any way you look at it. Except for the separation, but if ascension was denying her love, it wouldn’t really be perfect, so not everyone would want to go. And what kind of uncooked ramen is that hypothetical cursed person eating that it’s so terrible? Is it unflavored and made of razor blades and glass?

      I didn’t find it that bad, dark for this comic yes, but such things are expected- or at least they used to be.

      All those old disney movies with their dark in depressing moments lying in a sea of happiness. I’m looking at you, bambi.

    I will say this, I do not think I will be very surprised if Remiel goes and tells Cyril to chill and that Ina has already been registered as an NPC and will respawn tomorrow.

    It’s not like an angel can change life and death and make exceptions in something like that just cuz a wimpy guide wants him to.

        It could have been the captain who forgot or lied… That’s the likely option, seeing as how it was centuries ago and that Remmy seems to not make immortal poeple just cuz he can.

    I think that the captain lied and said that Cyril would get to stay with Ina once they got married, so that the lie might increase the chance that Cyril would free them of their curse.

    Lik dis if you cry ever tim. Also, Cyril still couldn’t see Ina if he died, because NPC’s don’t go into the full afterlife, it’s like a waiting area, where with Ina being a mortal, she is taken to the true afterlife to never see Cyril again ever.
