Comic #341

Speaking of being frozen, my house is completely encased in ice right now! HAHAHAHA *sob*

It is a universal rule of comedy that anyone who’s frozen in a block of ice will still be able to move their eyes around. And not be blind when they’re inevitably thawed.

  1. I noticed that his eyes were moving right away. That’s what makes this comic so great. Great job and congratulations on reaching 341 comics!

  2. Also, as a universal rule of comedy, anyone who’s frozen in a block of ice can also hear what is going on around him.

next comic should be just heather and maxx bickering while they carry cyril i his block of ice.

      1. he is laughing his ass (or stem if you must) off at Cyril’s plight right now, he might think of some way to use this a lesson to learn some new magic or as a way to tease him later but that is in the future
or at least I hope he is laughing and not frozen inside of Cyril, since that would just be odd…

  4. lol. they should sled on Guidey down the other side of the mountain. 🙂 THAT WOULD BE AMAZING.

  5. Heh, Jesse you’re not the only one who’s currently “cursed” with a house covered. In ice. This past week it’s snowed, then rained, then snowed, then rained. Because the rain disolves the snow and makes it ice, It’s pretty thick. (Rock Salt isn’t making a dent on this)

    1. the past week in Australia its been really hot (its summer), about 40 degrees Celsius (about 100 degrees Fahrenheit)

      1. Why, I say. Over here In Great Britain the weather has been spiffingly rather mild. I’ve been reclining inside drinking tea and eating scones.

      2. As a matter of fact, there is not a single snowflake to be seen throughout our great nation. *sluuurp*

      3. I do believe it’s going to be raining quite a bit, for last night there was a rather rough storm… And it kept waking me up!

      4. Jolly good! And If I am not horribley mistaken I do think that that very same storm hit our part of the country too, old chap!

And i must add, what a rather messed up tree you appear to have there squideer! It must be spiffingly cold where you are!

P.S. Here in Britain, ‘spiff’ is a verb.

  6. Cyril broke the ice and now is frozen in fear of what is to come. Let’s just hope he doesn’t break under pressure.

    That is all.

    1. Very good chance that I’ll be taking Razorknight’s role of making puns (whether good or bad). Why? Just because I can…

      1. And anyway, you only see him pick up Glamdring, there’s no way he would of picked up his staff as well, despite it being in his hand in the next shot.

  7. WAIT WAIT! CYRIL GOT FROZEN…. And the movie Frozen came out about a week ago! COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT!

      1. I just looked it up on IMDb, and with all honesty it looks like a collection of all the greatest but most terreble cliches EVER, not to mention the stupid snowman that I can tell is defiently NOT FUNNY.

  8. I didn’t catch Cyrils eyes till the panel after the panel they were closed. It only adds to the comic.

      1. No his eyes are open in the last two panels. I saw his eyes closed then I saw them open and then I went wait a second I missed something here and then I read the comic from the start noting Cyril’s expressions.

  9. I absolutely love how reading this backwards, bottom to top right to left makes so much sense it’s crazy, the only line that doesn’t really work is the last one(max’s first comment) Also, Jessie, Awesome comic, big fan, I hope to see a lot more amazing and inspired work from you. Good luck, you def have my support.

  10. Next up: June returns “accidentally”!
And then Cyril starts spazzing out… And no one will answer Aley’s question!

  11. I’ll bet Flower will take this as an opportunity for the Basic Spell II: Summoning Heat Without Rubbing Your Hands Together lesson.

  12. Hmm… So the Feb vote is over, but March is here and we’re in sixteenth! KEEP VOTING GUYS! WE’RE IN A GOOD SPOT! WE MAY VERY WELL REACH FIRST PLACE!!!
