(More of a real question for you now. How are you going to go to new worlds, Maxx? I mean there’s stuff that you have to go to new world for, and won’t show up in your current world, like ice caves and some new biome named crimson. (I think) So are you going to do something like a portal to a new world? Are you going to have him start on a new world with all the current loot? Are you going to remake Maxxwell’s Village in a new world?)

That’s a good reason to hate the update, because your computer isn’t good enough for it.
i was playing 1,2 just a few minutes ago… i record at 50 fps and my fps rarely/never dropped below that (fraps). When not recording i get 100-200 fps… if you’re pc cant handle terraria i would say, without a doubt, its time for a new pc.
red posted about this problem on terrariaonline, you have to disable your minimap (in the settings) or download the config file from his post if it crashes before you can access the settings
i will give that a go then
he updated terraria, you no longer have to do anything except playing :D.

Won’t it be hard to make the comics now that 1.2 is out? As Maxx will never find the Crismon biome, because there’s either crismon or corruption in each biome. Also, the dungeon’ll be outdated, right?
