   Omg! In my world on console, whenever I spawn, I spawn in a random hole that SOMEHOW got in my floor and the Guide is always in it. I swear he makes them b/c I dont have enough walls

     or maybe its because your spawn position is partly in the floor, as spawning inside blocks breaks the blocks.
