Ahh… nostalgia.
If you cross-reference this comic with the originals, you will notice that yes, I actually re-drew Tyrone’s numerous deaths to fit them into this new panel layout. Some panels, like Aley’s bween, were completely revamped, where others, like Xane’s, saw minor changes (I updated the sprite on Tyrone’s paper hat, since the original sprite always bothered me).
Anyway, that’s why this comic took me so long.

Speaking of nostalgia, all the way back in Comic 28, when Cyril died on his and Maxx’s first night, Remiel gave Cyril a cell phone that supposedly could be used to communicate with the angels. The phone was, afaik, never seen again.
Wouldn’t that be a very useful way for Ina to communicate with Cyril without him having to die?

Actually, I was more thinking it would go down one of two ways:
-Ina asks Remmy if there’s any way to contact the overworld, he tells her that Cyril has a cell phone, she demands to talk to him.
-Cyril calls Remmy to ask him a question/to tell him something about Maxx’s prophecy, Remmy mentions that Ina is trying to find her way back to him, he demands to talk to her.
Both include demands, so I look forward to Remmy’s reaction.
I’m fine with either as long as there’s a wizard battle somewhere.
Continued rereading- Cyril did use the phone, just after the EoC fight. They had a short convo about Maxx and how multiple prophecies can apply to one person, then it was cut short by June’s arrival.
After I believe it was never seen again.
Today I started up Terraria and noticed that the browser text said ‘Terraria: Legend of Maxx’. Congrats on being officially noticed by Terraria-senpai 😀
