It was surprisingly tricky to capture Xane’s dead-eyed expression for this comic. Figuring out how to replicate real expressions using sprites is always a fun challenge. Also: how to make everything greyscale without it being too eye-melting. I adjusted the contrast between the background and the foreground as compared to last comic; hopefully it helps make the characters stand out.
