What’s this? Maxx and June having an intelligent conversation? June tolerating the use of her nickname!? Truly these are crazy times we live in.
Panels 2 and 3 are a good demonstration of what I do differently now as opposed to the olden days. In the past, I would have shoved June’s response into the second panel, crossing she and Hannah’s dialogue boxes. Not anymore! The comedic timing isn’t as tight with June’s response being in the next panel over, but there just wasn’t any other way to do it with how she and Hannah were standing.
